Columbus, OH — Dave Garling, 64, died Dec. 30, 2015.

Mr. Garling was a proud Vietnam veteran, father (daughter Misty) and grandfather (Madison and Mason) who fought a long courageous battle with cancer.

He trained Standardbreds and worked for Russ and Sam Mignano and raced the Michigan/Ohio circuit for a number of years.

He was also a dedicated Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Lions and Michigan fan all of his life, as well as a very good bowler.

There will be no funeral arrangements.
