Davis and Teague triple Monday at Harrington

Harrington, DE — Drivers Allan Davis and Montrell Teague each had triples on the Monday (May 24) card at Harrington Raceway.

Davis (49 wins) and Teague (33 wins) are the current top two in the driver standings at the Harrington meet.

Davis started the card with a win aboard Lyons Music ($2.10) and also picked up wins with Little Ben ($4.20) and Justasec N ($4.80) in the $17,000 feature pace.

Owned by Forrest Bartlett for trainer Kevin Lare, New Zealand-bred Justasec N was victorious in his Harrington debut with a front end score, holding on by a neck over pocket-sitting Sweet Sun Daze. Slick Tony made a menacing three-wide move that came up a length short and finished third.

A 6-year-old gelded son of Big Jim, it was the first North American win for Justasec N, who was making his fourth start stateside.

Teague won back-to-back races early in the card with Big Sir ($3.60) and the venerable Sicily ($4.00), who picked up his 34th career win for trainer Wayne Givens. Givens and Teague teamed up for another win later in the card with Keystone Dash ($3).

Live racing will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule. Post time is 4:30 p.m.
