Plainville, MA — Veteran driver Eddie Davis Jr. notched a career milestone on Tuesday afternoon (May 3), when he tallied win number 4,500 at Plainridge Park Casino.

Davis, who is among the leading drivers thus far in the young 2016 meet, topped the Plainridge colony in UDR during the 2015 season.

Elsewhere on the program, Chris Long piloted three horses to the winners’ circle and has moved to the top of the driver standings as the fourth week of the season continues at the Massachusetts track.

Escape The News and driver Ron Cushing captured the $10,000 Open Pace. Trained by Heidi Gibbs, Escape The News is owned by the partnership of Kevin Sywyk and Cushing.
