Dayton, OH — Hollywood Dayton Raceway seeks a couple more gray horses to complete the field for its inaugural “50 Shades Of Gray Hollywood Spooktacular” pace on Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 31).

“We have six local grays committed to the race, but would like to add a couple more before we draw on Friday (Oct. 27),” reports Race Secretary Gregg Keidel. “The current entrants are about equally divided between horses and mares and have been racing in lower conditions, condition-claimers or straight claimers under $8,000, so I’m predicting a mile around 1:54 or so. It is not a novel idea, but we’ve never had a gray race in Dayton and thought Halloween afternoon would be a good time to try one.”
