Deborah Lawrence is the latest addition to the OHHA team as that organization’s senior accountant.

OHHA Executive Director, Renee Mancino, commented, “We are thrilled to add Deborah to the team, she has a diverse background, excellent accounting experience and skills with time spent at Penn Gaming’s Hollywood Casino Columbus, she is a welcome addition to the Association and the Racing side of the gaming industry.”

Lawrence will have the primary responsibility for the association’s financial transactions and creating financial reports from that information. Her duties will include the administrative, financial and risk management operations of the organization, such as the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and accurate financial reporting.

She and her family (two daughters and son) live in Groveport, Ohio. Lawrence is a graduate of Ohio University with a BS in Applied Management with a concentration in accounting and from Ohio Christian University with a BA in Business Management.

When she isn’t computing figures, some of the things Lawrence enjoys doing include CrossFit training, reading books on various business and leadership topics and teaching ESL. She is also a youth group leader at Vineyard Church in Westerville, Ohio.

The OHHA is excited to welcome Deborah as part of the team.
