Defiance County horsemen to hold silent auction for breedings

Edgerton, OH — The Defiance County (Ohio) Area Horsemen’s Association is holding a silent auction for breedings to numerous stallions.

There are currently two Ohio pacing stallions, three Ohio trotting stallions, and one Indiana pacing stallion in the auction.

The Ohio pacing stallions are Riley’s Luck (Camluck-Out Of School) and Stonebridge Tonic (Camluck-Glacier Express). Riley’s Luck stands at the Noah Wengerd Farm of Willshire, Ohio while Stonebridge Tonic provides his services at Bluebird Valley Stables of Dundee, Ohio.

The Ohio trotting stallions are Southwind Spirit (Muscle Hill-Spice On Ice), The Art Of Lindy (Cantab Hall-Lady Starlet), and Victory Sam (Valley Victory-Raging Sam). Southwind Spirit performs his duties at Dublin Valley Farms of Fredericksburg, Ohio, The Art Of Lindy takes up residence at the Andrew Kauffman Farm of West Farmington, Ohio, and Victory Sam stands at Creekside Stables of West Farmington, Ohio.

The Indiana pacing stallion is Let’s Drink On It (Art Official-Letmedowneasy). Let’s Drink On It resides at Chapel Ridge Farm of Grabill, Ind.

Bids will be taken on all stallions until 5 p.m. on Saturday (March 30). At that time, the person with the second-highest bid will have a chance to raise his or her bid. The bidding will then continue between the two highest bidders until one drops out.
