Delaware entries must meet Ohio Commission rules

by Tom White, publicity director, the Little Brown Jug

Delaware, OH — Attention horsemen planning to race during the 2010 Delaware County Fair. In an effort to cooperate with the Ohio State Racing Commission, the following requirements will be necessary:

  • You must have your Ohio Racing Commission license number, regardless of whether you are entering your horse by telephone or in person at the log cabin. Racing commission personnel will be on site in the log cabin if you are in need of a license.
  • Telephone contact information will be needed with each entry.
  • A Coggins test for each horse must be in the USTA computer system.

“Without the above three items we may not be able to take the entry,” said Tom Wright, race secretary for the Delaware County Fair. “We thank you very much for your cooperation and look forward to you racing in Delaware.”

Racing begins Sunday afternoon, September 19. The 65th Little Brown Jug is scheduled for Thursday afternoon, September 23.
