Delaware Grand Circuit sustaining payments due Feb. 15

Delaware, OH — Sustaining payments and late nomination fees for many of the 2008 Delaware, Ohio Grand Circuit stakes races are due Friday, February 15.

All payments must be made to: Tom Wright, P.O. Box 1560, Powell, OH 43065.

Sustaining Payments
The Little Brown Jug #63 — $750
Jugette #68 — $500
Old Oaken Bucket #41 — $500
Buckette #41 — $400

The estimated purse for the 2008 Little Brown Jug is $650,000 and the estimated purse for the 2008 Jugette is $400,000.

A nomination fee of $300 is also due February 15 for the $100,000 (est.) Winbak Pace for foals of 2004 and older. The Winbak is an Open pace for 4-year-olds and up.

Late nomination fees

Any yearling not properly nominated on May 15, 2007 may make a late nomination fee of $400 on February 15, 2008 and become eligible to make future payments when due.

These races include the Little Brown Jug and Jugette for 3-year-old colt and filly pacers in 2009; The Old Oaken Bucket and the Buckette for 3-year-old colt and filly trotters in 2009; and the Standardbred for 2-year-olds in 2008.
