Delaware, OH — The complete stakes and overnight schedules for the 2011 Delaware County Fair will be on the Little Brown Jug, USTA and Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association websites beginning Thursday, August 25.

Phil Terry, general manager of the Delaware County Fair, also announced that for the first time a half-mile pace will be contested on Wednesday, September 21. The pace is for horses and geldings who have won more than $1,000 but less than $5,000 in 2011. The estimated purse is $2,500.

Racing begins at the Delaware Fair on Sunday afternoon, September 18, and will continue Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. There will be no racing on Monday, September 19.

The starting fee for all overnight events is $50. Should an overnight be split into divisions, each division will race for 75 percent of the advertised purse.

The draw for the 41st Jugette 3-year-old filly pace will be held Friday morning, September 16, and the draw for the 66th Little Brown Jug will be Saturday morning, September 17.
