Lindy Farms Of Conn-bred Delicious returned to action Thursday night (April 21) in Sweden and after an easy win she was invited to race in the Elitlopp next month.

Delicious was invited to race in the Elitlopp after her win on Thursday.

Delicious had not raced since November, but her trainer Daniel Redén had her perfect for her first race in 2016, a mile race for mares at the Bollnäs track in Sweden. Ôrjan Kihlström was in the bike and after the first 500 meters he directed the Cantab Hall mare to the front and stayed on to win very easily in 1:55.4f.

After the race Daniel Redén was handed an invitation to race Delicious in the Elitlopp, which he accepted.

So far Delicious is only the second trotter to be invited to the Elitlopp. The French trotter Timoko was the first one to be invited.
