from DerbyWars.com

DerbyWars has announced it will host a $5,000 harness contest including two World Harness Handicapping Championship seats on Saturday (Jan. 13) with racing from the Meadowlands and Woodbine.

The contest offers a $1,500 first prize, plus two $1,000 seats to the $75,000 World Harness Handicapping Championship presented by DerbyWars at The Meadowlands on April 28. The contest is $230 to enter and the $5,000 prize pool is based on 25 entries.

Players may qualify for as little as $19 every night on DerbyWars.com, or on Saturday night during the early races. A full list of qualifiers for the $5,000 harness contest and the WHHC can be found at www.derbywars.com/tournaments/list/whhc.

The contest is a mythical $2 Win-Place-Show contest, where players will pick one horse in each race over 12 races and earn payouts equivalent to $2 Win-Place-Show payouts at the track, subject to maximum payouts.
