Diamond Francis wins the Gran Premio Orsi Mangelli

The prestigious Italian race, Gran Premio Orsi Mangelli for 3-year-old trotters at the Stupinigi track in Turin, was won by Diamond Francis with Vincenzo Piscuoglio Dell’Annunziata, who went by the German trotter Gio Cash with Gabriele Gelormini to win by a length in 1:56f.

Diamond Francis, who is trained by Walter Zanetti, was sired by Exploit Caf (sired by Toss Out) and out of Fashion Dei Sogni (sired by Lemon Dra).

Diamond Francis also won his elimination in 1:54.3f; the other elimination was won by Gio Cash in 1:55.4f.

Diamond Francis picked up the purse for the winner of 107,180 Euro in the final plus 9,200 Euro for the win in the elim.

The filly division was won by Daughter As with Pietro Gubellini in 1:55f, followed by Delicious Gar with Alessandro Gocciadoro. Both fillies were sired by Father Patrick.

The purse for the winner was 35,000 Euro.
