Dirty Secret repeats in Meadows trot

by Evan Pattak, for The Meadows

Washington, PA — Dirty Secret won her second straight in characteristic rallying fashion, capturing Tuesday’s (June 13) $20,000 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows in a career-fastest 1:54.2.

Dirty Secret was sixth by 7-1/2 lengths when Mike Wilder sent her after the leader, Goodtogo Hanover. The 5-year-old daughter of Justice Hall-Classic Flight picked up live cover from Wendy’s Girl, raced wide through the stretch and edged Goodtogo Hanover by a nose. She Nuit finished third.

David McNeight Jr. trains Dirty Secret, who now boasts a lifetime bankroll of $141,880, for Peter Kibler, Kenneth Owczarczak and Courtney McNeight.
