Charlottesville, VA — One of the toughest war horses of recent times, Doctor Butch, has finally come to stand stud.

The Art Major-Classical Yankee stallion is known for his blazing young speed, perfect conformation, along with his pure guts and tenacity that has stood the test of time.

Be part of history in the first crop of this real horseman’s horse as well as the launch of Virginia’s brand new sire/breeding program. Your foal will be eligible for both the $90,000 (est.) sire stakes and the $90,000 (est.) breeder series no matter where you foal.

This year, 13 2-year-old colts and 10 2-year-old mares raced for a total of $180.000. They have added a $1,500 breeder award for any foal that goes a 2:11 mile. In addition, if you foal in Virginia for one year you will get an additional $1,500.

We offer shipped semen anywhere in the world. Stud fee is $3,000/$2,500 for Virginia residents.
