The 6-year-old Swedish trotter Don Fanucci Zet returned to action Tuesday night (April 26) at the Bollnäs track in northern Sweden and won in impressive style in 1:53.2f, driven by Ôrjan Kihlström.

Don Fanucci Zet, trained by Daniel Redén, won the Elitlopp last year and seems ready to defend his title in a month.

On the same card, Redén and Kihlström had another interesting winner in the 4-year-old Damien, the full brother to Propulsion who sold for $1 million as a yearling in Lexington in 2019.

This was also the first race in 2022 for Damien, who raced twice in Sweden last year, winning both times. Damien also won this third race and was timed in 2:00.3f in a 1-5/16th mile event.
