Donato Hanover fillies top Italian yearling sale

At the ITS-Aste yearling sale in Italy, offspring to Donato Hanover proved to be in high demand. The two sales toppers — both fillies — were sired by Donato Hanover.

The top price of $116,000 was paid for Side Wide AS, the second foal out of In Wise AS 1:56.2, she by SJ’s Caviar.

Sabsevar AS was sold for $84,000. She’s out of Galeira AS 1:55.3, she by SJ’s Photo. Galeira AS had earlier brought Prado AS, sired by Pine Chip, who is a 3-year-old and has a mark of 1:58.2 and earnings of $25.000.

The most expensive colt was Sibley LB, sired by Conway Hall, who was sold for $77,000. He is the first foal out of Moxy LB 1:57.3, she by Muscles Yankee.

Another Donato Hanover filly, Sophie Gar, was sold for $64,500. Her dam is the Italian mare Allstar AFC 1:58.4, she by Indro Park.

A total of 71 trotters out of 104 catalogued were sold for an average price of $23,200.
