Dover, DE — Following the Thursday (Dec. 20) racing card, Dover Downs will observe its traditional Christmas week break from Dec. 21 through Dec. 28. Live racing will return on Saturday (Dec. 29) with post time at 5:30 p.m.

The upcoming draw schedule for the Holiday period is now underway:

On Monday (Dec. 17)–enter horses to race on Saturday (Dec. 29)
On Tuesday (Dec. 18)-enter horses enter to race on Sunday (Dec. 30)
On Wednesday (Dec. 19)–enter horses to race on Tuesday (Jan. 1)
On Thursday (Dec. 20)–enter horses to race on Wednesday (Jan. 2)
On Saturday (Dec. 29)–enter horses to race on Thursday (Jan. 3)
On Sunday (Dec. 30)–enter horses to race on Saturday (Jan. 5)

There is no live racing on New Year’s Eve, Monday (Dec. 31).

To enter to race, horses must be dropped in the box from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon each race day. Late submissions will not be accepted.
