Dover, DE — The upcoming Dover Downs 2012-2013 season, which opens Nov. 4, will feature 15 races daily. The track’s 44th season will continue through April 11, 2013.

There are several race day changes during the upcoming meet.

In November and December, Dover Downs will race five days a week, Sundays through Thursdays, with dark days on Fridays and Saturdays. There is no live racing on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22.

In late December, there will be no live racing during the one-week Christmas holiday break from Dec. 21–Dec. 28, and on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31.

The January and February schedule will add a sixth day of racing each week on Saturdays. Weekend racing on both Saturday and Sunday will begin at 1 p.m.

The five-day racing week returns in March and April.

Monday through Thursday post time is 4:30 p.m. Sunday racing in November begins at 5:30 p.m.
