Dragon Dance leads Stallion Series at Chester

Chester, PA — Dragon Dance proved the fastest among six divisions of 2-year-old pacing fillies in the Pennsylvania Stallion Series held Wednesday (July 21) afternoon at Harrah’s Chester Casino and Racetrack, taking a pillar-to-post 1:54.3 victory under Yannick Gingras.

Dragon Dance was a 1:54.3 winner on Wednesday at Harrah’s Chester.

The daughter of Dragon Again-Kuklapanandollie cleared the lead on the first turn from A and G Desire (David Miller) through a :27.3 first quarter. She subsequently backed down the half to :57.2 before repelling a strong challenge from Real Amor (Brett Miller) up the backstretch. Ultimately, Dragon Dance prevailed in 1:54.3 by 1-1/2 lengths over Real Amor, with A and G Desire finishing third from a pocket trip.

Another Dragon Again daughter was victorious earlier in the card, as Twincreeks Jewel fanned three-wide off cover at the top of the stretch to win by a widening two lengths in 1:55.3 under Tim Tetrick.

Other winners (with sire, time, and driver) were N Y Yankees (The Panderosa, 1:54.4, Andy Miller), Miss Suggs (Allamerican Native, 1:55.1, Tim Tetrick), McTootsie (McArdle, 1:56, David Miller), and Celebrity Dollfin (Four Starzzz Shark, 1:55.3, Andy Miller).
