Off an impressive win in a conditioned pace last Saturday, Drinkin Again went off as the 6-5 favorite in the field of seven. He rated in fourth early on, while Revolver N set a dawdling opening quarter of :29.3 over a sloppy track. Not content with this pace, Thespywholovedme moved to the front and established control before the half. All the while, Austin Siegelman kept Drinkin Again in the four-hole.

As they neared three-quarters, Siegelman elected to make his move with Drinkin Again. Once Drinkin Again was fed racetrack, he zoomed to the lead and opened a clear advantage as they entered the stretch. He crossed the finish line four lengths in front, covering the mile in 1:55.4. He paced the final quarter in :27.4.

Drinkin Again is owned and trained by Phil Jasper. This 7-year-old has won seven times at Freehold this year, with four of those wins coming at the ongoing summer/fall meet.

Live racing at Freehold resumes on Friday (Nov. 19), starting at 12:30 p.m.
