Drivers and trainers mix it up for SRF

from the Standardbred Retirement Foundation

Hamilton, NJ — Join harness racing’s drivers and trainers for a night at Redd’s Restaurant and Bar in Carlstadt, N.J., to benefit the Standardbred Retirement Foundation.

On Monday, Feb. 21, at 5 p.m., a fabulous menu of fun is planned but the highlight of the night is harness racing’s drivers and trainers serving up the drinks.

There’s a $10 cover charge going to SRF along with all the tips graciously being donated by the drivers and trainers. Bring another $10 to enter your best chicken wings recipe which will be judged by a surprise NFL and NHL celebrity. For those who like to dance and sing there will be a DJ and karaoke throughout the night.

SRF is a non-profit organization providing non-competitive race horses another career at an average age of just five. SRF supports over 100 horses permanently retired in pasture and more than 75 waiting for adoption as pleasure riding companions, and therapeutic horses in support of equine programs for youths.
