DSBF 2-year-old stakes featured Monday

Harrington, DE — Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund stakes action for Delaware sired 2-year-olds debuted for the season on Monday (Oct. 5) at Harrington Raceway with four $20,000 divisions completing the first leg for pacing fillies.

Rowdy Patti ($4.60, Bryan Truitt) captured the first division for owners Roland Hall and Bryan Truitt Jr. in 2:00. The Roddy’s Bags Again-Winbak Patty filly set all the fractions in her first lifetime win for driver/trainer Bryan Truitt.

Seboomook Up Town captured the second division in 1:56.1 for trainer Wayne Givens.

Garnet O’Marrow’s Seboomook Up Town ($2.40, Allan Davis) was an impressive winner in the second division in 1:56.1 for trainer Wayne Givens. The Tune Town-Seboomook Mao filly improved to three-for-three in her career, remaining unbeaten.

Andrew Glassmeyer’s Eternal Ring ($2.10, Jon Roberts) held off a hard charging She’s Brilliant in the third division in 1:58. Trained by owner Glassmeyer, the Artzina-Turn For The Best filly improved to two-for-two in her career.

The final division was won by Kdk Standardbreds’ Apple Bottom Jeans ($3.40, Montrell Teague) who cruised to a front end triumph in 1:57. The Mr Apples-Scylla Hanover filly was making her first pari-mutuel start for trainer Kevin Switzer.

Remember Me VK ($3.60, Teague) captured the overnight feature with a 1:52.3 victory in the $12,500 Open II for owners Sharon Wyatt, Robin West and Ron Benton.

Teague had three driving wins on the program.
