Dube snags a pair of Green Acres

Manalapan, NJ — Daniel Dube was the winning driver in a pair of non-wagering New Jersey Sire Stakes-Green Acres on Thursday (Sept. 19) at Freehold Raceway.

In the first $7,000 division, restricted to 3-year-old trotting fillies, Dube guided Vida De Vie to a 13-1/4 length victory over Connie Keeper. It was 17-1/2 lengths back to Ninety Five Janet in third. All three are by Muscles Yankee.

Vida De Vie, trained by Chris Ryder, posted a 2:00 mile in her winning effort. She improved her career record to five wins, three seconds and four thirds from 28 starts, banking $88,616 for owner-breeder Joie De Vie Farm.

Dube teamed My Tallia Ideal (by Western Ideal) to victory in the Green Acres for 3-year-old pacing fillies.

My Tallia Ideal paced the mile in 1:55.3, finishing two lengths ahead of Get The Look (by Cam’s Card Shark). Air Miles Hanover (by Western Ideal) was third by 7-3/4 lengths.
