Columbus, OH — A 2-year-old pacing filly from the first crop of Duneside Perch won the first qualifier at Balmoral Park Wednesday morning (May 23) in 1:58.

Dune In Red, driven by owner Michael Einhaus for trainer Robert Einhaus, took advantage of a two hole trip to come home in a final quarter of :28.3 to post a 1-3/4 length victory in the 1:58 clocking. It is the fastest time so far in 2012 for a 2-year-old.

The filly is a daughter of the Jate Lobell mare She Has The Look and is a half-sister to $453,137 winner Proper Respect.
