Dustlanemissmolly hung on for F&M Open Pace victory at Buffalo Raceway.

The 4-year-old Dustlanemissmolly served the youth well asshe went gate-to-wire for Buffalo Raceway’s leading driver Larry Stalbaum inposting the popular $4.70 victory.

Starting from the rail, Dustlanemissmolly had no trouble ingaining the lead off the starting gate and put up reasonable fractions of 28.0,57.2 and 1:26.2. Turning for home, the pocket-sitting Susie’s Delight (RayFisher Jr.) appeared to have the only realistic chance of chasing downDustlanemissmolly but just ran out of real estate. Classy Lane Rose (DrewMonti) put in a late kick and settled for the show spot.

Co-owned by the Vogel & Wags Nags Stable and the PineHill Racing Stable, LTD, Dustlanemissmolly is trained by Maria Rice. It was thefifth win in 18 attempts in 2017 for Brandon’s Cowboy-The Boss’ Daughtermare. The victory pushed her seasonal earnings to $41,951 and $68,532 lifetime.
