Economy Terror back to her winning ways in Philly PASS

Chester, PA — After capping her 2-year-old season with Breeders Crown and Three Diamonds victories, Economy Terror ($2.60) came back right where she left off, taking the first of five Pennsylvania Sire Stakes divisions for 3-year-old pacing fillies in 1:50.3 on Thursday (May 24) at Harrah’s Philadelphia.

With Brian Sears in for this lone drive, Economy Terror pushed the pace early before clearing at the completion of a :27.1 first quarter. From there it was no looking back for the daughter of Western Terror-Mattatonic, who controlled the pace and sprinted clear on the far turn en route to a geared-down two-length win over Yagonnakissmeornot and Frontierpan.

Chris Oakes trains Economy Terror for the partnership of Chuck Pompey, Howard Taylor and Edwin Gold.

Other division winners were Kiss Dont Bite (Tim Tetrick, 1:52.1), Big McDeal (Jody Jamieson, 1:50.4), Sharkist Breeze (Tim Tetrick, 1:52.3) and Princess Cruiser (David Miller, 1:52).
