Columbus, OH — Edward D. Chappell, 59, died suddenly on Feb. 19, 2017.

Mr. Chappell was a lifelong resident of N. Syracuse, N.Y. He was self-employed in the used car business along with his son, Nick.

He was an avid horse racing fan and loved going to the casino. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and will be greatly missed.

Mr. Chappell is survived by his former wife, Linda; son, Nicholas; brother, Tom (Linda) Emery; sisters, Joyce Cerio, Christine (Earl) Fox and Gail Carni; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two siblings.
