Eight enter Lady Maud at Yonkers

Yonkers, NY — Eight 3-year-old fillies have been entered for the $291,050 Lady Maud Pace at Yonkers Raceway.

That number means the 48th edition of the Lady Maud shall go as “one-dash-for-the-cash” a week from Saturday night (October 27). Elimination races, which had been scheduled for this Friday night (October 19), are not necessary.

The octet, in alphabetical order with seasonal record, are:

A season ago, Darlin’s Delight completed her sophomore resume by winning this race en route to divisional honors.

Please note the entry box for the $750,000 (est.) Messenger Stakes, third jewel of the Pacing Triple Crown, closes on Tuesday, October 16, at 4:00 p.m. Eliminations (if necessary) are scheduled for this Saturday night (October 20), with the final of the 52nd Messenger set for a week from Saturday night (October 27), the same evening as the Lady Maud.
