Columbus, OH — Starting Monday (April 12), horsemen will be welcome to ship into the Eldorado Scioto Downs paddock to train.

The track will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Friday through Tuesday, April 27. Due to billboard installation, training will not be available April 21-23.

“We’ve made a significant investment into our track resurfacing this spring,” said Caesars senior vice president of racing Joe Morris. “We want to make sure the track is worked and has horses on it for the next 20 days so it can be tight and race-ready before our first qualifier.”

The Scioto Downs race meet commences on May 4. Qualifiers will be held on April 28 at 12 noon and opening day at 4:15 p.m. More information about training can be directed to Scioto Downs director of racing Jason Roth at 614.295.4668.
