Eleven enter Confederation Cup

Mississauga, ON — A group of 11 sophomore pacers will head postward on Sunday (August 12) for the 2012 Confederation Cup at Flamboro Downs.
Among the talented 3-year-olds entered include Art Rooney winner Pet Rock, OSS Gold and Upper Canada Cup winner Michael’s Power, 2011 O’Brien Award winner Warrawee Needy and supplemental entry Panther Hanover.
The horses dropped in the box are as follows: Caviart Key, Dynamic Youth, I Found My Beach, Mel Mara, Michael’s Power, Panther Hanover, Pet Rock, Secretsoftheknight, Speed Again, State Treasurer and Warrawee Needy.
Post positions for the six and five-horse first heat elimination fields will be drawn and televised on Thursday morning during CH Morning Live’s morning show.
