Elitlopp field established

The field is set for the prestigious Elitlopp to be raced at Solvalla next Sunday (May 26). There are 16 trotters from six different countries drawn into two eliminations from which the first four finishers will advance to the final.

Three trotters bred in the U.S. will take their chance in the race, Double Exposure and Propulsion – both trained by Daniel Redén, and Milligan’s School trained by Stefan Melander.

In fact, Reden makes history as he has no less than four trotters in the Elitlopp this year – besides Double Exposure and Propulsion, he also sends Sorbet and Heavy Sound out.

From France “the world’s best gelding,” Aubrion du Gers with Jos. Verbeeck, who has won his last 15 races, will try his luck at Solvalla for the first time.
