Elusive Desire is retired

Toronto, ON — Trainer Mike Keeling has announced that two-time O’Brien Award winner Elusive Desire has been retired from racing and that breeder Valley High Stable has agreed to purchase the mare. The announcement comes in the form of a video interview with WEG’s media department.

Elusive Desire, a daughter of Angus Hall, has had an off season with earnings just under $100,000. She has earned more than $1.27 million in her career with a 1:52.1 race record.

The biggest payday of her career came as a result of a second place finish in the Breeders Crown last year, earning herself a $150,000 payday.

P C Wellwood Enterprises Inc., Charles Armstrong and Robert Fasken share ownership of the mare who will remain in Ontario to be bred.
