Washington, PA — The Meadows Racetrack & Casino wishes to advise trainers and owners that entries for next week’s Pennsylvania Sires Stake and Pennsylvania Stallion Series stake for 2-year-old colt and gelding pacers must be submitted to the race office by phone.

An inadvertent error in the stakes dates in the United States Trotting Association system has disabled the online entry feature for these two stakes only.

To enter, or for more information, phone the race office at 724.225.9897. The race office will contact trainers and owners who already have dropped in to ensure their horses are properly re-entered.

For the PASS stake, which offers an estimated purse of $157,000 and goes Monday (Aug. 14), the entry box closes Wednesday (Aug. 9) at 9 a.m. For the $80,000 (est.) stallion series stake, which is set for Tuesday (Aug. 15), entry deadline is Thursday (Aug. 10) at 9 a.m.

First post next Monday and Tuesday is 1:05 p.m.
