Entries remain open for Buckeye Classic Yearling Sale

from the Hoosier Classic Sale Company

Middlebury, IN — It’s not too late to enter your yearlings at the Buckeye Classic Yearling Sale. Entries for the Buckeye Classic will remain open beyond the June 15 deadline.

The fourth annual Buckeye Classic will be held Tuesday (Sept. 25) at the Champions Expo Center in Springfield, Ohio. The placement of the sale date follows the Ohio Selected Jug Sale by 11 days, allowing consignors and buyers to regroup and enjoy another day at the auction. Consignor and buyer participation has seen substantial growth each year and with sale graduate winners from both the Ohio and Indiana sires stakes programs, buyers are taking notice.

The 2017 auction saw nearly a 20 percent increase in sale average with the top pacer at $65,000 and highest trotter at $37,000.

Conducted by the Hoosier Classic Sale Company, consignors at the Buckeye Classic can take advantage of a sale day check. Unlike any other auction, 50 percent of sale-day proceeds are available if catalogue fees are paid at time of entry. Yearling videos are available for buyers on our website as well as multiple video kiosks on sale day. Hoosier Classic auctions use TrackIt pedigrees on our websites which are updated daily, assuring buyers the most up-to-date information on each yearling.
