Equine Expression & Drawing the Horse Head at Museum

Goshen, NY — Join us at the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, located at 240 Main St., Goshen, N.Y., on Sunday (Nov. 18) from 1-3 p.m. for an event Equine Expression & Drawing the Horse Head.

We may not be able to read our horses’ minds, but we can see their facial expressions to aid us in understanding what they are thinking and feeling. Learn how to read your horse’s facial expressions and apply this to the drawing of a horse’s head. We provide reference photos, or you may bring your own. The cost is $10 and free to Scouts, Pony Club and 4-H members. Parents are free if not participating. This event is for all ages. Preregistration required by Nov. 16.

Programs are made possible with support from the USTA, Agriculture & NYS Horse Development Fund and the NYS Council on the Arts.
