Once again offspring of Muscle Hill were in high demand at the European yearling sales.

At the first Wenngarn Sale held at the historic Wenngarn Castle outside Stockholm on Tuesday (Aug. 16), six yearlings sired by Muscle Hill were sold for an average price of $96,600.

The sales topper, Ivory Boko, a colt by Muscle Hill and out of Frances Lavec, was sold for $165,000.

A total of 79 yearlings went through the ring and 76 of them were sold for an average of $41,945.

There is a lot of optimism in Sweden, as races for 3-year-old trotters in 2018 will have at least $6,000 in first price.
