Face Time Bourbon in high demand in Italy

Malmo, Sweden – At the ITS-Sale held in Italy this week a colt sired by the French trotting star, Face Time Bourbon was sold for 210.000 Euro–about $210,000–which was the highest price at the sale.

The yearling named Far Wise As is a colt, whose dam Temple Blue Chip also is the dam of Italian top trotter Vivid Wise As (Yankee Glide).

Face Time Bourbon is very popular as a stallion in Italy, had 16 yearlings sold at the sale for an average price of $65,000.

That is 20 percent more than 12 yearlings by Face Time Bourbon was sold for at the premiere French yearling sale Arqana-trot earlier this month, where he averaged $54,000.

This is the second crop after the twice winner of the Prix d’Amerique, Face Time Bourbon.

In France, Face Time Bourbon so far has had eight 2-year-old starters, who between them have won two races.

In Italy Face Time Bourbon has had six starters, who between them have won six races.
