Face Time Bourbon on the road to the Prix d’Amerique

Jagersro, SE–Face Time Bourbon, twice the winner of the Prix d’Amerique and the heavy favorite to win the race again next January, won the first qualifier–the Prix de Bretagne–raced Sunday afternoon (Nov. 21) at Vincennes.

Face Time Bourbon, trained by Sebastian Guarato and with Eric Raffin in the bike, was again in a class of his own and won the 2,700-meter event (1-11/16 miles) by three lengths timed in 1.54.4 (mile rate). He was followed by Etonnant with Anthony Barrier and Ganay de Banville with Jean Michel Bazire.

These three trotters are now qualified for the Prix d’Amerique, but also qualified to race in the next three B-races as well as the Prix de France and the Prix de Paris.

The next qualification race is the Prix du Bourbonnais over 1-3/4 miles to be raced Dec. 12 at Vincennes.
