Faith Step, PJ’S Dream win Meadows co-features

Washington, PA — Faith Step moved powerfully first over, collared the leader in mid-stretch and rolled to victory in Wednesday’s (May 22) co-feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, an $11,500 Conditioned Trot.

Faith Step was fifth down the backside when Ridge Warren sent her after the leader, Midnight Nolan, who could offer no resistance. That was the last obstacle for the 3-year-old homebred daughter of Fordham Road-Fast Reaction, who triumphed in a career-best 1:55.4. Andy B Worthy rallied for second, 4 lengths back, with the pocket-sitting Cyclone Ben third.

Greenshoe-Dream Baby Dream earned a life mark with a front-end victory in 1:55.4. Blockchain finished second, beaten a neck, while Big Dreams Count completed the ticket.

Jack Killeen, Dave Palone and Warren each enjoyed a double on the 13-race card.
