Fancyfreeshark was one of three consecutive wins for owner/trainer Bobby Glassmeyer and driver Jon Roberts.

The feature was a two-horse race from start to finish. Fancyfreeshark took the early lead for Roberts before Jeremy’s Successor sped up with Shaun Bier to take over heading to the clubhouse turn.

They paced that way until just before the turn for the stretch when Roberts pulled Fancyfreeshark out of second and quickly took command on the way to the 6-year-old Four Starzz Shark-Fancy Art horse’s first win of the year for owner/trainer Glassmeyer. Jeremy’s Successor was alone in second with Izzy Real (George Dennis) closing for third.

Glassmeyer also started Braden in the $20,000 male claiming pace. The altered son of Art’s Chip-Tammy C Tresa wired the field in 1:52.4 for his second win in his last four starts. Lord Terror (George Dennis) was second. Lightning Moon (Brad Hanners) finished third. Braden was claimed from the race by trainer Joe Hundertpfund.

The first of the consecutive winners came when Lost Heart with Roberts scored a 1:55 win in a Delaware $15,000 claiming pace, besting Political Terror (Ross Wolfenden) in a tight photo with The Quiet Village (Tony Morgan) third.

A possible fourth win was thwarted when Apache Renegade (Allan Davis) won another $15,000 claimer with Glassmeyer’s Poker Shark and driver Roberts having to settle for a second-place finish.

Along with the three wins by Glassmeyer and Roberts, Allan Davis also had a triple, Eric Carlson had two wins, while Vic Kirby drove both winners of the daily double.
