The 2-year-old filly Fascination has made headlines in Sweden after some very impressive performances.

On Tuesday evening (Dec. 6), Fascination, driven by Johnny Takter, won a leg in the Swedish Breeders Crown series at Jägersro in a time of 1:59.1f — a new Swedish record for 2-year-old trotters.

Fascination was again in a class of her own, winning by open lengths, as the number two past the post was timed in 2:01.1f.

Fascination is sired by Super Arnie and out of an Italian mare, Elissa F.Z., she by Lemon Dra.

Fascination, who a couple of weeks ago won the biggest Swedish stakes race for 2-year-old trotters, The Breeders Prize, has raced seven times and won six races. She has earnings of $130,000. She is trained at Jägersro by Lars I. Nilsson.
