Fast qualifier for Fox Valley Barzgar

Columbus, OH — Michael Polansky’s Fox Valley Barzgar, the winner of the 2006 Woodrow Wilson Final, began official preparations for his sophomore year with an eye-catching effort in a qualifying race at Pompano Park on Friday morning, April 13.

The son of Incredible Finale, in rein to trainer Tom Harmer, won in 1:55.3, and by 16-1/2 lengths.

Fox Valley Barzgar won six of his eight freshman starts and banked $289,550 in the process. In addition to his Wilson triumph, he also won divisions of the Hanover Colt Stakes and the Illinois Governor’s Cup.
