Father Patrick closes in on Sebastian K for top spot in Poll

Freehold, NJ — Father Patrick, off his win in the American-National Stakes for 3-year-old male trotters, pulled within 16 points of No. 1-ranked Sebastian K in this week’s Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll.
Sebastian K did not race last week.
Father Patrick, who leads all horses in purses with $1.38 million, received six first-place votes, an increase of four. Sebastian K saw his total drop from 26 to 22 while 2-year-old female pacer JK She’salady was unchanged with seven.
Shake It Cerry, who won the American-National Stakes for 3-year-old female trotters, moved up one spot to No. 4 in the poll while Sweet Lou, who was idle, dropped to fifth.
JK Endofanera won the American-National Stakes for 3-year-old male pacers and joined the Top 10 at No. 10. McWicked, another 3-year-old male pacer, dropped out.
