Columbus, OH — North America Cup winner Fear The Dragon returned to the races in style on Thursday (Nov. 9) after the 3-year-old son of Dragon Again easily disposed of seven rivals at Hollywood Gaming Dayton Raceway in a qualifying contest.

Steered by Chris Page, the colt was placed upon the lead from post position seven the moment he left the gate and paced in hand throughout the rest of the mile to stop the clock in 1:53.4.

Fear The Dragon‘s time was nearly a full second faster than second place finisher Waterside Champ, with a last quarter mile in :27.3.

Trained by Brian Brown, the colt is owned by Emerald Highlands Farm and after today’s performance may be supplemented to the Matron Stakes or Progress Pace.
