Fellows talks Wilsonator and Hyperion Hanover

by Greg Gangle, WEG media

Toronto, ON — Thanks to stablemates Wilsonator and Hyperion Hanover, trainer Rob Fellows has celebrated another $1 million season. The Rockwood, Ontario resident has produced five consecutive $1 million seasons.

Wilsonator has certainly been impressive, especially after finishing fourth in her $500,000 Breeders Crown division for young driver Scott Zeron. The daughter of Kadabra has career earnings of C$476,249 and is currently positioned fourth in OSS standings en route to the C$300,000 Super Final on November 13.

With C$226,449 already earned this year, Wilsonator has been entered into an OSS Gold elimination on Wednesday, October 27, at Windsor Raceway.

Hyperion Hanover is what Fellows calls his ‘iron horse.’ The millionaire son of Camluck raced 39 times last year and produced C$290,000 in earnings. The regular WEG Open class pacer returned to the track last week after a three-month layoff where he finished a respectable fifth.

Hyperion Hanover has been entered into Saturday night’s Open Pace which goes to post in race two.

In an interview with WEG’s media department, Fellows discusses both stars. To view the interview on the Woodbine Entertainment website, click here.
