Fifty Cent Piece leads Swedish Breeders Crown winners

The Swedish Breeders Crown for 4-year-old mares, raced Sunday afternoon (Nov. 7) at the Eskilstuna track in Sweden, was won by Fifty Cent Piece with trainer Robert Bergh in the bike.

This win must come very conveniently for Concord Stud Farm, which today sells the full sister, Defacement, at the Standardbred Horse Sale in Harrisburg.

Fifty Cent Piece is sired by Muscle Hill, who also is the sire of the winner of the Breeders Crown 3-year-old filly, Glamorous Rain, with Ôrjan Kihlström in the bike and trained by Daniel Redén.

Kihlström/Redén also won the 3-year-old colt division with Francesco Zet, sired by Father Patrick.

The Breeders Crown for 4-year-old males was won by Ônas Prince with trainer/driver Per Nordström. Ônas Prince is sired by Chocolatier.
