Filion, Jamieson and Roy at H3R Sunday; C$512,000 in purses

Trois-Rivieres, QC — The Quebec Jockey Club will host the richest day of harness racing in 2018 at the Hippodrome 3R this Sunday (Sept. 9) with C$512,000 in purses headlined by the championship finals of both the Breeders Cup and Future Stars Series for 2- and 3-year-old trotters and pacers.

World renowned harness drivers Sylvain Filion, Jody Jamieson and Louis Philippe Roy will be leaving Toronto for Quebec to compete in the rich Super Sunday afternoon program. First race post time is 12:50 p.m.

Of the 12 races on the program, eight are the finals of the Breeders Cup Series for 3-year-olds and the Future Stars Series for 2-year-olds.

Each of the four Breeders Cup finals go for C$65,000 each and the four Future Star final races for a purse of C$55,000.

In addition, there is an $8,000 Invitational Trot and Pace, and for the first time there are two $8,000 consolation races, one for the Breeders Cup and one for the Future Stars.
