Toronto, ON — Woodbine Entertainment Group has issued a final reminder to all owners and trainers that nominations will close Wednesday, Dec. 1, for the 2010 Winter Stakes. There are 17 stake events in total with a few notable changes:

1. All stakes events have gone from two legs and a final to eliminations and a final.

2. There will be an increase in purse for the finals of the Glory’s Comet Stakes (C$125,000), Willowdale Stakes (C$100,000), Cam Fella Stakes (C$100,000) and Damsel Stakes (C$100,000).

3. The Ontario Boys and Girls Stakes have been replaced with two new aged stakes called the Horseplayer Interactive Stakes and the WEGZ Stakes.

Envelopes must be clearly postmarked no later than Dec. 1 and registered mail is recommended.
