Batavia, NY — Officials at Batavia Downs Gaming announced on Wednesday (September 5) the final amount raised in the recently concluded Breast Cancer Fundraiser held at the Downs in August.

Thanks to a late donation by the Inquisitive Stable of Macedonia, Ohio, the final total raised was $10,140, of which half will go to the United Memorial Medical Center Healthy Living Partnership and half to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure.

Batavia Downs Gaming would like to thank all those who contributed to making this fundraiser the most successful of all the Breast Cancer Fundraiser events held at various harness tracks in New York State this year.
