Columbus, OH — Charlie McGraw from Bronxville, NY and Don Locricchio of Warren, MI became the last two of 10 winners in the USTA Free, Online WHHC Qualifying Series. McGraw won on Friday (March 20) with races from Saratoga Raceway and Locricchio clinched the final spot Saturday (March 21) on races from Northville Downs.

Both contests were very close. With a winning bankroll of $79.40, McGraw edged Alan Lorenz ($77.90) by $1.50. In the finale, Locricchio’s $102.80 nipped Peter Zweigbaum ($101.40) by only $1.40.

McGraw and Locricchio are the last two to earn free entries ($800) from the USTA series into the $60,000 WHHC Championship at The Meadowlands on Saturday, April 25. (Total prize pool of $60,000 requires 100 entries).

First prize in the WHHC final is $20,000 with payouts to the top 10 finishers. For more information, visit the Meadowlands website here.

The USTA World Harness Handicapping Championship Free, Online Qualifying Series consisted of 10 tournaments that started on Feb. 27 and concluded March 21 involving races at 10 different USTA member racetracks.
